However the only TV in the house is in their bedroom and they let my DD (so far only grandchild) watch the occasional cartoon up there. At what age is this no longer ok. Or I guess, is there an age where DD should not be allowed in the bedroom anymore?

For the record, I was married already, and still am, to the same man - I'm 35 now, we have 2 kids, and neither my mother nor I have never touched a stripper pole (although I did attend a bachelorette party at a male strip club once. Lame and cheesy.) People really need to stop with the stereotypes. A 50something grandma is hardly in "Teen Mom" territory. I've met grandmas in their late 30s and early 40s -- THAT is unusual. Being in your 50s as a grandma usually just means both mother and daughter had their first kids within a few years of 25. Not a scandal.

I'm not understanding your concern here, OP.
It's just. a. pole.
Nobody is going to do a sexy dance on it while your precious snowflake is watching cartoons.
In many years to come, when your child has learned to associate a pole with strip-tease - and my 5th grader and his friends have no yet done so! - she will probably not be of the age to go into that bedroom to watch cartoons.
She'll be glued to her phone instead, texting friends. That's when you'll need to be vigilant about sexting. Not pole-watching. Duh.
