Honestly, sometimes ignorance is bliss. I knew my clinic would convert my IVF retrieval to an IUI if I had less than four mature eggs, but beyond that I really didn't know what a "good" number of eggs was, so I didn't really worry too much when I only six eggs were retrieved and only three were mature enough to fertilize. Of those three though, all made it to day 5, two made it to freezing and one was genetically good to go. He just turned two last week.

Luckily, they managed to squeeze us in for an appointment the day after the results came back, but you are at the whims of your doctor's scheduling availability.

My nurse said she couldn't get the results but my doctor called with them. That was in January.

I received a call from my nurse. This was a month ago.

Mine was a month ago too (we met with the Dr on 3/18 to be exact). So either they just changed the SOP or my nurse is lying for some reason. Wouldn't put it past her, actually...

Maybe they saw the post from the person upset that she got the info at the time of FET, then claimed she wasn't told her abnormals would be discarded.

OP here, just got a call and only one made it to freeze (PGD). In 10 days we'll have some news.

OP last June I had 4 eggs retrieved, 2 mature. None fertilized. Fast forward 5 months later, and I conceived naturally. And I'm 39. Don't give up hope.

OP I had 9 retrieved and 6 mature. Eventually two tested PGS normal. I haven't transferred them yet, but it was more than I'd expected. Good luck to you.
