My in-laws don't like me because I'm not Jewish. We don't see very much of them. They made a choice and we made a choice. That simple.

In some cases, your family just sucks. My brother married an amazing woman and they are wealthy, travel the world and live a beautiful life. My whole family hates her. Not a mean bone in her body and she treats him perfect. They just don't want or like him to be happy. It all stems from jealousy. Plain and simple. Could be the case here. Some families just are crappy and no matter what she or you do, OP, they will still be bitter.
