It *can* be a temporary situation. The loss of sex drive can also be permanent. Plenty of DCUM threads attest to that.
DW felt pretty awful first and second trimester, and then felt too huge and gross 3rd. The result was that we had sex exactly once, on our anniversary, in the first tri. After that, DW breastfed for 6 mos. We are now 10 mos. PP and we are now finally getting back in the groove...sex 2x last week!!!
ProTip: Any reminders of the baby's presence are immediate sex killers - so turn off/down the sound on the monitor.
