Holton wait list rarely moves in a timely fashion. My DD was accepted off list for 9th grade in August. Since we were coming from public this worked out for us but if you have to commit to a private in May or June, this may not work for you.
When you accept a spot you're asked to check how long you're willing to remain on the list so maybe they didn't give an earlier spot to someone who said they could hang on till August. Just a thought. We have until May 31st but still remain hopeful.

Anonymous wrote:Holton's spring break is more aligned with Montgomery County. Starts tomorrow and runs through 4/4. Many of the other private schools (DC and VA public schools as well) are on spring break now and return early next week
