Not the PP, but I don't think any woman is worthy of shaming either. I don't think that what she did was respectful, but the respectful way for you to deal with that would be to say, "Hey Sara, that was pretty messed up when you locked me out of our room to have sex with Travis. I live here too. If you're going to have sex with people, please do it at their place, not here." Respect = communication and transparency.

I had a slutty college roommate too. She used abortions for birth control because the pill was "too difficult" to remember to take and guys don't like condoms.

No, we don't all agree that there's no such thing as s promiscuous woman. That's just incorrect - and I AM a woman. And not an overly religious one who saved themselves for marriage, either. There are promiscuous people of both genders, absolutely. The problem is the double standard that, societally, it's somehow a positive for a man (or at least not a negative) and it's a negative when it's true about a woman. Just because you don't like the way the term is used doesn't mean it simply isn't true. Overweight people should not be "fat-shamed" - this does not mean you can go around saying there are no overweight people. It's simply not true.

Disagree. Promiscuity is subjective--some people would consider anyone who's slept with anyone outside marriage to be promiscuous, others wouldn't consider someone with dozens of partners to be promiscuous. It's just a social construct, and not one that anyone can agree upon. So no, you can't point at someone and intone "there be a promiscuous woman".

I'm the poster you're responding to, and I see your point, but you don't think weight, or success, or every other societal label doesn't have the same subjectivity? There are people who covet thigh-gaps on women - for them, any build above a size 4 or so is overweight. On the other hand, the average American woman is around a size 12, and a plus size model just made the cover of the SI swimsuit edition, so others clearly have a different opinion about what constitutes "overweight."

In some cities in the country, making $100K/year would be considered successful - for others, that's barely middle-class.

My point is, ALL of these are subjective, but there is a point at which the vast majority of the population would agree: those people on "My 600 lb life" are overweight, Bill Gates is successful, and Magic Johnson was promiscuous. These are extreme examples, but you see my point.
