I've met two people with my birthday (though not my year). It secretly horrifies me because they are both super nerdy, OCD older white males with hygiene issues who wear suspenders and bow ties and suffer from verbal diarrhea. Then there's me- outgoing younger white female without the same issues/fashion sense.

i don't think it is that uncommon to know someone with the same month and year. My son and out neighbors son have the same day, different years.

My 2 year old son shares a birthday with his 23 year old cousin. My SIL texted me an her after he was born saying "do some squats, maybe he and [cousin] can share a birthday". I was like, "he's here!"

My brother was born on my 16th birthday which also happens to be a big holiday.

My grandmother's birthday was the day before mine.

I went to a small Catholic high school. There were 81 people in my graduating class. Three of us were born on the exact same day.

Two other girls had been born on the same hospital on the same day, and their mothers had shared a room.

I dated someone with the same birthday, and another person with a birthday the day after mine, and another person with a birthday 2 weeks after mine.

None of those relationships worked out too well.

In a group of 23 people, there's a 50/50 chance that at least two people will share a birthday (month and day).
