Ive done that before but it's more of a once or twice a year thing. It has to be really bad and making me feel horrible to do that though.

Yes, it's a "big deal". You are trying to do-over.
But in reality, you are setting yourself up in a cycle of doing it over again and again...

It also depends on what you consider disgusting.
If it's deep fried chinese food follow by bag of potato chips or ice cream- yes it's gross.
But if it's dinner at mom's with meat loaf & canned string beans- no, not disgusting (tho not ideal).

Either way, you should not throw up. Because what you consider disgusting is subjective. Try to choose healthier foods most of the time and don't over eat anything.

Also, if you actually eat really bad foods, you need to remember how it makes you feel so it happens less often.

OMG not true! not everyone who forces themselves to throw up goes down the rabbit hole of bulimia! jesus christ....

OP this is normal and ok, but I would say that you shouldn't find yourself needing to do it more than a few times throughout your entire life.

DH had to do it once, and felt better immediately thereafter. He does not have an eating disorder, normal weight and normal eating habits. whatever he ate that one particular time made him feel so sick that he felt he had no choice.

to some of the PP's, What's the difference between doing this and using ipecac syrup? people use that on their children when necessary, how is it different?
