Suppose you're a DW in her mid-30's. You and your husband decide, after having two children, that you will have your tubes tied after the 2nd child. Five years later, your husband cheats on you with a younger woman, and gets her pregnant. The two of you eventually divorce. Your husband happily makes a new life with his new girlfriend/wife and third child.

Now wouldn't you feel just a bit disrespected in knowing that your husband has decided a younger woman and a 3rd child satisfies his life?

I had a c-section, and while there, Dr. tied my tubes. Before this was decided, my DH willingly volunteered to get a vasectomy after baby was born because I was done with the pill. It made me gain weight and decreased my libido. We absolutely agreed on no more kids.

After about 4 yrs our sex life got much better. Why? I reduced my stress by working less hours. It was the stress, not the sperm count or lack thereof.

No it's not, much better then having your check garnished for 18 years for a kid you didn't want. See that all the time with men, and yes in their 50's who were stupid. I think any man once they are done having kids should do that since that's really the only good birth control for them. We know guys who will never retire. If a woman wants kids she will.

You should have kicked her ass to the curb after cheating episode #1. She probably still wouldn't respect you but at least by now you'd have had a chance to find someone else who does.
