Remember that if any of this stuff is actually classified, *anyone* sending or receiving those emails could be in trouble because they were not sent on a classified server, nor are they sitting on a classified server now.

Who said anything about Blumenthal?
It will be interesting to see WHO sent these emails.
And, how the FBI handles this situation with this person/these people.

One of the fully redacted (due to now being classified) emails is from Blumenthal. Clinton, once again, did not send any of these emails. Once again, none of the material was classified at the time.

You are listening to Clinton. We don’t know if SHE sent the emails yet. We do know that she CHOSE to have a server that was unsecured. THAT is the issue. If she had done what she was supposed to do, and used the State Dept. email, there would be no issue. This is ALL her making. And, as to the statement that the material was not classified at the time..... seems to me that what has happened here is that someone took information from classified emails (yes, classified, and likely marked as such), and related that classified information in an email to HRC. So, while the email itself was not classified, the information was. Once again, she should have known better. Her judgment is questionable, at best. But, she is a Clinton, after all, so she is not held to the same expectations of us regular people. She is above us.

Yeah, she did the same thing as her predecessor.

Come on, this is suppos to be a fact-free anti Hillary thread. We're suppose to pretend it was not a common practice in the Bush administration.

No, I'm listening to a journalist who is exceptionally well informed about this.

For what? Are you going to jail every single person who sent or received these emails? They were all sent and received on unclassified servers.

Same scenario. Republicans are always investigating the Clintons about something. It's endless. And it's all about stuff that doesn't matter.

It is an FBI investigation, not a 'Republican' investigation.

yeah, right.

Hey, that condition is prevalent among at least half of DCUM posters.

And the sad news is that stupidity if often tougher on the aware reader than on the unaware writer

If she isn't indicted by year end 2016, all you yappers will never post n the politics forum ever again. Do we have a bet? Or are you all talk?

Oh, you again. I do believe you may have a gambling problem.
I am not going to take your bet because an indictment is dependent on Obama and the Justice Dept. I have no faith they will do what is right.
I do believe the FBI will issue a recommendation, but that will also likely be “sealed” by the administration. You know, this administration that is the most transparent ever.

I am 19:16 so not a Hillary fan but I agree that she will not be indicted. More info will come out, she will look bad and the election will go on. Many will question her judgement and doubt her commitment to following rules and laws that are inconvenient for her but she won't be indicted. Sorry to say. Hopefully this will cost her votes but she is not going to the joint.
