So people either don't evacuate or have no where to go. Who would leave their dogs behind to die? And if they did leave their dogs behind to die, they should be prosecuted.

You're a hideous human being. You don't have to like pets or invite them but to lack the understanding that an animal needs heat, food and shelter like any other living thing? Gross. Asshole.

As for the vehement anti-pet crusade on this board, you are so full of it. No one is getting pissy with you about not allowing their pets to come over.
Someone JUST SAID that she would think less of her friends who invited her but not her animals.
I said I'd think less of you, not get all pissy or angry. I just would think less of you - that's all.
You already are pissy and angry. That's why you need dogs for companionship; they don't have a choice but to show you affection.

First, even people WITH kids would not leave their dogs alone in a freezing house during a blizzard. Its called empathy/compassion.
I would leave my dogs alone in the house. They're animals, not children. Too many people forget that.

In fact, I'm shocked when people tell me it's ok to bring the dogs over. That said, if the power goes out, I will be staying with my dogs. I certainly wouldn't be offended if someone offered a place to crash but I wouldn't take them up on it.

You talk so much smack constantly about people with pets, why are you so obsessed? I can assure you we aren't thinking about you and your hatred for our animals. We're living normal, healthy lives while you're apparently taking every opportunity to snarl about us and our pets on the internet.
