why does this make me so sad: sad that apparently burning man really is dead; sad that the comments make me laugh so hard when i'm trying to give up 'mean' satire; sad that 1%ers are so oblivious; sad that we are right back in the gilded age, without the fun shenanigans of prohibition, jazz, and art deco; sad that it feels like DC is filled with people like this now. i'm tired of this 1% society even though i'm in the 10%. isn't anybody down to earth anymore? brilliant writing, though.


We're supposedly in the top 4%, and I don't feel anything close to being wealthy.

I think the wedding is ridiculous, imo, but if that's the lifestyle, then so be it.

btw - Have you seen Dale Chihuly's works? I have - up close and personal. He's been around forever and is nowhere close to "hippy."

You know, Schmucksters, or whatever adorbs names you call yourselves, the best way to show you're deeply in love and in a new phase of relationship development is to remain faithful (however you define it) and married for the rest of your lives. I give them four years.
