NP, that's just it. You don't get to choose what and how to address this person. You must address him or her by the noun or pronoun they choose. Not your choice.

Anonymous wrote:English has a perfectly good gender neutral pronoun: "it". No need to make up silly new words.
Anonymous wrote:So ridiculous. How is anyone supporting this? What a world we live in....

It DOES affect others.... that is precisely the point.
This law REQUIRES that OTHERS call people what they choose to be called, or suffer the consequences, which in this case, is an outrageously hefty fine.
I could care less if someone wants to be called a dick, but if I refuse to call them that, I should not be prosecuted for not doing so.

Calling someone what they want to be called doesn't affect you. You would only suffer consequences if you chose to be a discriminatory jerk.

I do not. And I think you're a bad person if you do.
You can't be serious?
I'm quite serious. Anyone who has a problem with this law, which is rooted in basic human rights and decency, is fundamentally a bad person.
Actually, anyone who doesn't have a problem with this, is crazy.
Looks like you'll be surrounded by crazy people soon then. Sucks for you.
