+1. We did this for #2, and plan to for #3 in a few weeks. Once baby is big enough to move around a lot while sleeping (we use a sleep sack with swaddle wings at night for the first 3-4 months at least), we unswaddle and move to crib. No issues with first two (tho #1 was in crib from start-not near as nice as bedside to me!!) transitioning this way, I hope #3 follows n their footsteps!

That's pretty dramatic. I know lots of people who used it for the first few months.
