+1. Growing up, my mom would take pictures of every hotel room we stayed in when we traveled. We had to keep all our coats and suitcases out of the shot, no touching the beds until she was done.
Now I have a young kid and I do it too.

It is one thing to take an exterior photo and to take a few photos WITH PEOPLE IN THEM of the common spaces, but I wouldn't want them entering my bedroom/placese they didn't NEED to be in (closets, guest rooms that weren't being used), let alone take "realtor"-like photos. Tell them you don't want them to share them if it bothers you.
A home tour with the hosts there is one thing. Poking around and taking photos of rooms you don't need to be in? NOPE.
Are you slovenly or just generally belligerent?
These are family members.

OP here. I think that's what bothers me - it feels like my privacy has been invaded.
OP, I am amused at how PP guessed it. Because , this is a non issue ( along with things like them buying bed sheets that didn't match room decor)
I can understand how you are feeling though. They are just showing off. ( my son, my DIL live in a nice house). Chill
This is the OP- they are Irish Catholic.

What? They are Irish Catholic? Not Indians? Are you sure? Maybe they are Indians pretending to be Irish Catholics? Some Indians are pretty fair, you know?
In DCUMlandia, all strange and negative behavior is attributable to Indians and Asians. Even their academic and financial success is a negative. So, I am shocked to read what you have written.
So, do Irish Catholics buy bedsheets that do not match the room decor? Do they show off? Do they invade the privacy of their children?
You learn something new everyday! SMH
