Kwanzaa starts 12/26.
BTW DCUMers, Kwanzaa is NOT a religious holiday. Mainstream AA Muslims don't celebrate it so pork at Kwanzaa is not an issue. Growing up, we always had pork in our greens on the last night of Kwanzaa. The last year I celebrated it, my aunt switched to smoke turkey wings because she doesn't really live us anymore.
Can you do an AMA on Kwanzaa? I'm very curious about this holiday and have never met anyone who celebrated.

It's a contrived "holiday." Not even Al Sharpton celebrates it, although Marion Barry used to bedeck himself in Kente cloth.

If you're Jewish I can understand. But even if you're vegan, I think the son has a right to decide what he wants to eat and follow in his life.
