The culture of a particular grade is so critical to your experience at a school that it can overwhelm any other cultural/societal issue.

The school has its fair share of cliquey parents, mainly Moms, I would add. There's one LS Mom famous because she only RSVPs for a birthday party evite on the day of the event after checking if the "right" crowd is planning on going! Bit of a sport to watch, really!
