This is Jeff again. Starting at 8:30 PM, we are starting Part 1 of the trial and error of ad networks. If you encounter a freeze, please clear your cache (Settings -> Safari -> Clear History and Website Data). Then, try again. If you still have freezes, please post here. Post even if you see that others have posted. Don't stop posting until I ask you to stop. Also, post if you don't have freezes. If there are more freezes, I'll turn off another network and start Part 2 of the testing.

I still can't login, so this is Jeff replying anonymously. Maria spent most of the afternoon surfing DCUM with her iPhone. She had a few slow page loads, but didn't have the freezing you guys are seeing. As such, we are still stumped about what is happening. We are going to start turning off some ad networks (we use 4 now) for mobile devices and just trial and error until the problem goes away.

I'm still having issues with the website freezing. Usually it happens while a page is loading and on every new click.

I've been having the same problem, as recently as this morning. I thought it was my phone, so glad to know it's not.

OP HERE. The problem has resurfaced for me also. The site has been "loading" for about 20 minutes now.
I've tried the tricks recommended previously but no can do.

Thanks Jeff

7:29 here: I figured out the private mode and now things are much smoother!

I am having the problem on my iPhone 6 as well. The main problem is clicking inidividal threads--either it doesn't load or I get an error at the bottom that says basically "URI too large, URL too large for this server" and it won't go to the link at all. I can get one thread after shutting down safari completely then it clogs up again. I tried the clearing history and data as suggested by Jeff.

Thanks.

+1, which is increasing my work productivity. It's so bad I avoid the site for days at a time.

Often the first page I open (Recent Topics) doesn't load fully. If I'm able to click on a link it often either doesn't load fully or when I try to go back to Recent Topics it gets hung up or won't let me click a new link. Using private browsing solves the problem.

Usually 2 or 3. I have to shut down the page in Safari and open a brand new one in order to browse DCUM.

Approximately how many pages do you have to view before the problem starts? I have been using my phone, but can't reproduce this problem.

It is still happening on my iPhone 6. I cleared my data and nothing changed. Still freezing and half-loading.
