Just my opinion. If we are talking about a ver young child, under ten or so, these scores mean very little. Retaking may help because young children may have bad days, or get distracted etc. If you have a kid in middle school or ready for high school and their scores are consistently 60 per tile or lower I would not recommend you send your culd to Sidwell or Sta/NCS. These schools really apply a lot of academic pressure and Sidwell deflates grades. For kids who struggle it can mess up their self esteem. A child with 50 per tile scores can do great things and may outshine higher testers in real life. But the top schools here show no mercy and do not accommodate average learners at the US level. For this reason we have one kid at Sidwell and one at a different school.

FWIW, don't send them to schools until you see the scores, then go back to the website and send only if it's good or school requires it.
