  • Not really those butterflies, but I do get warm feelings at times. (In addition to just everyday love).

I am THRILLED he's gone and SAD he's gone all at the same time. I get to cook my Indian food that he hates, leave the windows open, watch whatever I want on TV, cook whatever I want for dinner, read all my books. But I miss cuddling with him, his jokes, discussing politics, my kids hugging him silly, discussing out day, asking his advice, giving him mine.

    10 years next month.

Dh 9 years married. Generally a good marriage. I am floored people still have butterflies for their spouse several years in. Love and attraction I can understand but butterflies?

I'm one of the butterfly pps, I know it sounds corny, but I still get butterflies when I think of/see him, and the goofy grin too.
It just hasn't worn off. I love him in deeper and more meaningful ways now of course, but he still gives me that rush. Can't help it.

    No, never had that though
