You are the reason why children die at school. No balls to stand up and do the right thing.
Is that how painful the truth is? How will you respond when a crazy shoots at your kids? Run away?
Each pathetic excuse you make = blood on your hands
Totally unnecessary & totally preventable:

Several people were removed from Spirit Airlines flight NK969 after the plane was called back to the gate while taxiing off Tuesday morning, according to ABC7 reporter Suzanne Kennedy, who was on the flight. The flight was scheduled to leave from BWI to Chicago.
According to Kennedy, four passengers were initially removed from the flight, three males and one woman. They reportedly had several backpacks and appeared to be in their early 30's and of middle eastern descent.
Three additional passengers were subsequently called out from the loud speaker and removed from the plane.

The spokesman said the "suspicious activity" involved one of the male passengers viewing a news report on his smartphone. All four of the passengers were "very cooperative," according to the MTA spokesperson, and have been released.
We have become a nation of pants wetters. If you are of "middle eastern descent" (which I am on one side of my family), I suggest cancelling any planned flights for a while.
About six months before 9/11, I was on a cross -country flight where 4 Muslim men were acting suspiciously once in-flight. I told a flight attendant who had noticed it as well, and notified the pilot. I believe it was a practice flight. You know when something is not right

Anonymous wrote:Ok, sorry about the tool comment, that was uncalled for. It's just that I understand people feeling on edge, don't you? There are moments that something feels off, it has happened to many people. What if this was a well meant report? What if something had happened and the person had not reported it? Yes, hyper vigilance can be a pain, and it can lead to mostly false reports, but if it saves one live, I think it is tolerable.

OP, I think you are a complete tool. Hyper-vigilance and profiling is expected after Paris. These things are going to happen, and honestly I rather err on the side of extra safety than regret. Look at Germany, terrorists just tried to blow up a full stadium, where the prime minister was going to be.
You believe that reporting someone for simply looking at his phone is acceptable and call me a tool? I certainly hope you have bought an economy-sized package of Depends because you are going to need them if that is indicative of your bladder control.

A reporter who was on the flight, Suzanne Kennedy, tweeted this from the plane:
Woman got up and went to back of plane w/child as plane was taxiing. Then aircraft called back to gate. Plane being held at gate
Kennedy co-authored one of the articles to which I linked. However, she doesn't mention this in her article and no child is mentioned as being among the passengers removed from the plane. My guess is that the woman and child she tweeted about where not among those removed. Otherwise, you are correct, the moving about the aircraft would be the "suspicious activity".
I would think this woman w/ her child might be the one that reported the activity. Maybe there was a flight attendant in the back whom she notified. Wasn't it mentioned in the article that the passenger that notified them was female?
