Yes, Dec. 25th is Christmas and until a few years ago it was considered a holiday that everyone enjoyed taking part in even small ways for non Christians like enjoying the decorations,etc......it is a beautiful holiday and there is nothing at all wrong with wishing someone Merry Christmas.
