A 50 year old DH here who travels frequently (for business and with groups of guy friends). I would say that unless his friends are real dirtbags, the social pressure from his friends will be for him NOT to cheat. Chat up a pretty girl at a bar, yes, just for the fun of it. But sex? I don't see it happening. Poor bastard is more likely to be the one steering the others home. All that said, you are the one who wrote "I can't imagine that he wouldn't", which to me says more about you and the state of your marriage than about this Cancun trip.

Read the bolded part. Of course the gun reloads. Its the feeling of connection that men get from sex that stays. If you are in a sex rut, most men aren't going to feel connected. Sending out a sex-starved, emotionally disconnected spouse of any gender on a weekend with opportunities raises the chance for infidelity.

I don't get it. If you're husband is the cheating type, he will cheat regardless of where he is. If he's not, he's not going to suddenly cheat because there are women around.

99.9999% of the time men don't put much thought into affairs, they don't concoct intricate schemes and plan ahead of time to get some strange while they're out of town at a bachelor party.
99.9999% of the time men are dumbfounded by how they ended up with their pants around their ankles shagging some chick they hardly even know - that's why men get caught so easily.
If he's not happy at home and having thoughts/urges of infidelity then yeah, Cancun is a nice opportunity, but then again the cute barista at the Starbucks right around the corner who smiles at him every morning is a nice opportunity too.
