you don't know what the OP's home situation is like. she's obviously a working mother trying to follow the policy her center provided. YES, the baby doesn't feel well and should probably stay home. maybe she's a single mom, or doesn't have family in the area, or doesn't have a flexible job.

sure makes it a lot harder when people choose to be a judgmental ass instead of offering compassionate education and guidance.


My compassion is for the poor sick baby.


no kidding. but you're the only person in this thread that felt it necessary to skewer the mother, who btw, kept the kid home.

NP here, Honestly, if he's been fever and vomit free for over 24 hours and wakes up in a decent mood and eats his breakfast bottle, I'm taking him. I can't use sick days on a baby who was previously sick but is now ok.
