You could contact a Senior Center and see if they might have an event. Even if you had the candy to give to your daughter later. My mom used to take us "TorTing" at a local Senior Center. We'd knock on the doors, song songs or tell (bad) jokes.

Do you know your neighbors? Talk to them to see if she can trick or treat a day late (you should offer to provide the candy). This is what my parents did when we spent a year in Europe when i was a kid.

No one I know does Halloween activities after Oct. 31st because Nov. 1st is All Saints Day. Most Catholics paint and clean graves. You'll have to find a Sunday fun day in the event's page of your news site. There are usually fall fun things for kids.

Another idea, do you know your neighbors? If a neighbor told me they had to travel I would tell them to still come to my house to let their child trick or treat when they got back. You could ask a few people. Anyone in my neighborhood would happily do this for each other.
