Alison and Quinn are both dead and neither are coming back. If the producers were willing to kill off Brody, then they will have no qualms about a lesser character.

Agree. And I think Carrie either turned off the machines or Quinn died naturally at that moment. No chance of him coming back. As sad as I am to see him go, I'd be disappointed if they did bring him back since it would be too unbelievable.

My guess is that the next season will show Carried married to Otto. She does it thinking she's getting safety & security but instead, he's not what we think and she gets drawn into whatever mess the next season will bring.

I agree, she will get involved with Otto partly because Jonas rejected her based on her bloody background and partly because Quinn told her in his letter that he was never able to be in a "normal" relationship either. I think both of those things will mess with Carrie's head and she will settle for Otto, someone she doesn't love but does respect and admire, at least for a while. I also noticed during the course of this season that both Saul and Allison alluded to the During Foundation being shady with its donations to Muslim extremist groups (such as Hezbollah) and its connections. So I think Carrie will partner up with Otto and then Saul/the CIA will need to investigate the Foundation for some reason and that's how Carrie and Saul's paths will cross again.

Possibly, I kind of think it would be too unbelievable if Quinn came back (to life) now. I'm so bummed. What is Homeland without Quinn? Who will I lust after now?

Carrie doesn't seem to feel sufficiently guilty for insisting Quinn be pulled out of his coma.

She may very well have been about to kill him, but she didn't do it on screen. If the white light did signify that Quinn was dead, it's possible that he died naturally at the very moment that Carrie was considering smothering him. When I watched the show, my first impression was that the bright light gave Carrie pause, and actually stopped her from killing him. But I can see now that the bright light may actually have pushed her in the other direction. I don't know what was about to happen next. But I am confident that Carrie did not actually kill Quinn onscreen in Season 5.

Given what we know of Carrie's history - it actually makes sense to me that she *would* have some sort of Daddy complex.
