Agree. And I think Carrie either turned off the machines or Quinn died naturally at that moment. No chance of him coming back. As sad as I am to see him go, I'd be disappointed if they did bring him back since it would be too unbelievable.
My guess is that the next season will show Carried married to Otto. She does it thinking she's getting safety & security but instead, he's not what we think and she gets drawn into whatever mess the next season will bring.
