5'7+1/2" and 160 pounds is fat?
Looks pretty good to me

I am 3 inches taller and same weight. Most here would say I was obese. (I am really the heavier side of normal.)

I'm 3 inches shorter and same weight. Definitely obese by DCUM standards, but I can't say I feel good about myself either.

Nah. She's properly proportioned throughout. It's not like she has a huge chest and a tiny waist. It did work out well for her in Mad Men but it's definitely not a 21st century actress body.

Does anyone remember that she played Saffron in Firefly? She was tiny back then.

Hello, fellow Firefly fan!

Plus I agree that he doesn't photograph well

Agree. Her skin coloring probably is pretty blotchy without all the makeup and while she looks great in the celebrity photos, don't fool yourself into thinking she could look like that without hair, makeup and a tight fitting pair of Spanx.

That said, I think they both look reasonably nice and as long as they're in love who cares.

Nope, her skin is beautiful sans makeup.

as a mad men fan, i never got the appeal of hendricks. it wasnt until this last season where i "understood" why people fawned over her.

she has a natural sex appeal and that is attractive. while she is not an eye sore, that sex appeal boosts her attractiveness. i still dont believe she is overall the greatest looking woman on earth. i do however see and understand part of her appeal.

for lack of a better word, she has "swag".

+1 she is not even overweight by BMI standards (which can be pretty unforgiving). She is curvy in all the right places. I love her and wish there were more women in Hollywood that looked like her.

There was an episode of Top Chef where the chefs prepared food for a reception for them -- this was before I watched Mad Men and have never seen him in anything. They were a sweet and delightful funny couple. Certainly on equal ground looks wise.

and this...

"I was just thinking the other day, 'Oh gosh, I just want to go home and read a book in bed next to my husband,'" Hendricks said. "And sleep...Oh, I get to do that every day until I die. It's a nice feeling."

People do fall in love.

Here's your reason, straight from Hendricks:

When I first started dating my husband, I had this weird fascination with the circus and clowns and old carnival things and sideshow freaks and all that. About a month after we started dating, he bought me this amazing black-and-white photo book on the circus in the 1930s, and I started sobbing. Which freaked him out. I thought, Oh, my God, I mentioned this three or four weeks ago and talked about it briefly, but he was really listening to me. And he actually went out and researched and found this thing for me. It was amazing."
