Seems like the German teacher made quickie exit, or else a parent was going to report him to the authorities for messing with his kid at scuba. This seems really awful, PP. I hope you and maybe other parents will share this stuff with the authorities.

We had one potentially major issue brewing for my kid at Cooper. I dialed Arlene's number fully prepared to leave a message or talk to an assistant and then probably be told nothing could be done. Instead, Arlene not only answered her phone directly, she got my kid's file while we were on the phone and worked out the issue on-the-spot. No problem. She rocks like that.

How well did you know the pedophile teacher? You didn't notice the red flags? At all???


I didn't know him at all. I simply meant that some teachers do teach other stuff on the side. That part isn't unusual.

Or just call the school and ask to speak to the new foreign language teacher. This is not a crowd-sourcing question. It can easily be answered by asking the source directly.

What are you talking about? It was in the newsletter thing, discussed at the coffee and in the directory. Not everyone can or wants to teach at the high school level. And certainly not green green teachers.
