I would recommend that you reach out to the hiring manager you were working with late this afternoon to see where they are with the process.
I have been talking to the HR person, don't have the hiring manager's contact info. I am a bit worried that my response to the offer might have been taken as a no, when I was just trying to find out how much wiggle room there was.
