Some friends told me my list was crazy. I thought it would be fun to hear from other women? What were your deal breakers? Especially the unusual ones?

I used to think like this - but I think it was a phase. I grew out of it and now I don't care for it at all. I really think my husband doesn't watch porn though. I know it sounds crazy but the guy is like a saint.
Yep. There are definitely guys out there who don't watch it.
I have found there is a sweet spot, men in their mid-thirties/early 40's who didn't have high speed internet in their youth and were presumably in the period of most sexual access during the rise of porn, at the same time they weren't in the drop off in sex that often happens after marriage/kids. My DH looks at tumblr sometimes, images not video. Probably because he only had access to photos as an adolescent.
Aha good point. Op here. My husband didn't have internet at all until college. He's also from a muslim background so porn was probably hard to find. I think in college he had to use shared computers.
Lol Muslims watch more porn than anyone. Something like 9 of the top 10 countries for surfing porn are Muslims countries. Look what Osama Bin Laden's house was filled with when they captured him.

A dealbreaker would have been a conservative. There's just no way we could have a good marriage. I'm married to a socialist. A real one. Not a Bernie Sanders wannabe.

No kids. I left. Have two beautiful kids now. When we were first married he wanted them. But when it was time he changed his mind. Too and for him. I was the perfect wife

I rule out triathletes too, although I wouldn't say they are narcissists. Its just far too much of a commitment to something. No different in that I wouldn't want a man who insisted on spending 5 hours on the golf course 5 times a week, or hours on end on any other hobby.

Couldn't be abusive, addicted, cruel or mean-spirited, stupid, controlling, or closed-minded.
Basically, not an asshole.
You can probably gather from that list that I didn't have a preset list of deal breakers, just a general idea of the kind of man I'd like to meet. And it meant I didn't miss out on DH for some silly reason that doesn't matter years later.

In general, I think a long list of deal breakers, especially silly ones is a terrible idea. You end up not considering someone who could be a great match for you.
My list was:
Wants kids
Likes to travel
Not a spendthrift
Willing to work hard enough for us to have an upper middle class lifestyle (with me working as well)

"not into TV or porn" -- uh, there's a difference between watching PBS or a baseball game vs on-line porn, no?
Of course there's a difference. After all these years of a TV-free life, I did't want to be with someone who has to watch tv dail. There’s lesser place for TV in our world today. My information and entertainment needs are readily met with the radio. My husband never watches tv. we even had free cable during his phd program and not once dos he sit down to watch! We not love reading and listening to the radio. Everyone is different
