Israels legal immigration policy is designed so that anyone who is Jewish or has a Jewish grandparent can move permanently to Israel. And that helps Israel maintain their desired jewish state. You can take issue with that for having specific religious immigration as a way to outnumber the non-Jewish natives, but Israels legal immigration is designed to accomplish this specific thing, to include incentives to those who immigrate

U.S. immigration policy however, is designed to keep those who would become public charges (except refugees) from coming in because that is what has been determined to be good for the U.S.

That's because they are wanted in Israel by other Jews.

Muslim countries don't want these refugees and haven't opened this borders or wallets.

Women don't leave their families as easily as men do. That's why micro funds to women help the family more than micro funds to men.

Muslim refugees emegrating to western countries is a planned result by IS. Emigration is a form of Jihad - to spread Islam to other countries. I'm not saying the refugees realize this, but IS certainly do and this is planned by them.

I haven't seen multiple cases of Jews deliberately going to live in other countries to decapitate, bomb, and kill the citizens of those countries.

Is it your contention that war refugees from Syria are terrorists?

People have complex reasons for migrating. It's not one or the other. They are war refugees; they also have economic concerns. And Syrians and Turks don't have good relations. Syrians would not be welcome in Turkey and they are traditional enemies. The fact that Turkey is peaceful is not a deciding factor. Again, common sense dictates that they would move on.

Duh, if that's the case, we seem to have an awful lot of radicalized individuals outside of the Middle East.

Wondering where these people are most likely to have a successful integration into a brand new culture. Do they really want that? Are the men literate? Am guessing the women aren't.

I tend to agree. And after being in Turkey long enough for the sister in Canada to pay rent for them, you'd think the parents would have secured life vests. Nearly every news image I see of migrants and/or refugees shows most wearing life jackets. I've seen images of hundreds of discarded life jackets in Greece. Those parents failed their children by not doing something as simple as getting them life jackets.

I think they were in Turkey illegally. They are from Syria. The family was buried there. I thought the lifejackets were handed to them by Coast Guards and such. These people are being transported by smugglers , and I seriously doubt these smugglers would give them lifejackets.

Exactly. The smugglers discourage lifejackets since they take up room where more people could be crammed in.
