Subject: Do you think there is a perfect height ratio between men and women?
I have to admit that when super short women date super tall guys I wonder how things work in the headroom.( is he too endowed, etc). Juvenile, I know, but I always wonder.

PP, do you like dating women who have acne? Or have asymmetrical facial features? Are large boned and overweight? Stop trying to insult women who physical preferences that do not match your own characteristics, it just makes you appear very insecure. Almost everyone has physical preferences.
Exactly. It's such an absurdist male fantasy that women should not be allowed to care about physical appearance when selecting a mate...

I don't, as long as she's physically fit -- which is generally something within her control and indicative of her approach to life. Height has nothing to do with your approach to life and it's purely genetic.
Saying "I only date men of X height" would be like saying "I only date men of X race" or "I only date men with X hair color". It marks you as a vapid moron.
No no no... if women arent allowed preferences in terms of appearance, than neither are men. After all, it would be "shallow", right?

Not the PP but acne and weight are changeable (within certain limitations of course). Height is immutable and a complete genetic crapshoot. I think it's fine to have a preference but if a person meets all your other criteria and you click and you choose not to date or continue a relationship with them based purely on height that's short sighted.

Never cared. DH is 5'7 and I'm 5'5. I wear heels if I want to. We love dancing together an travel is easier not bein too tall. He is manly and broad shouldered and strong and can make me feel very feminine if that's needed.

I'm 5'4" and he's 5'9"...sometimes I wish I were taller to make sex easier standing up but that's about the only reason I could think that height matters.

I will admit that my ex and I looked better ratio wise- 5'10 and 5'1. Very short guys don't want to date women my height. If a guy is 5'5, he wants a girl at least that tall (or so they've told me).
