There's no way yoga practiced properly and at the correct level for your experience and strength hurts your back. Find a better teacher, and perhaps start with a few privates or semi-privates to get focused attention and structure on proper form.

This supports my theory on crossfit. It attracts people with problems and gives them something to latch on to. It sucks these people in and gives them the social life, etc. they have been looking for. It is a cult in this way.
