Funny. I told my DH this on our third date and he was relieved because it is what he wanted too. Just be honest from the start! Also +1 on finding educated, successful, responsible men much more attractive. I love a confident man in a suit.

Some people don't want to live in the suburbs, they want to live in DC. Unfortunately, DCPS arent very good past 5th grade, that's just the reality. So many aren't choosing trophy zipcode for sake of name. Same thing with private school. I would love to send my kids to a DC public school, but private is the better option for us. Yes, compared to you, I'm rich, but that wasn't the point I was making.

The skewed reality on this board never ceases to amaze me. $450K might not be private-island rich, but it's literally the top one percent.
In NW DC + private schools with more than 1 kid, that's just getting by or average/below average in those circles.
This isn't Manhattan. You can live in much more affordable neighborhoods and have a lovely home, good schools, and short commute. Excuse you blow your money on a trophy zip code and brand name private doesn't negate the fact you are rich.
