Passed on houses with tubs and so-so showers, it's just not something we want or need. Definitely love a luxurious shower and two vanities.

Do any of you who want two sinks actually use them simultaneously, or do you just want your own area for your own stuff?

(I don't take baths or have room for double sinks, so I'm just curious)

OP here - Thanks! The first looks really awkward (could you wash your face with the faucet so close to the side edge of the sink?) but some of the other options look great.

+1 Sink people, does this combined double sink idea work for you? Or would you insist on completely separate sinks?

No, that set up would not work for us at all. We also need plenty of counter space beside each sink for our electric toothbrushes, cups, lotions and soaps.

Same here. I only use my tub to throw towels into when I'm sorting laundry.

When we were looking it was no question for us. We'd much rather have the second sink. If anything, I got frustrated seeing bathrooms with just one sink and a huge soaker tub in a corner collecting dust (which it would have for us). I realize everyone's different though.

I do b/c it's easier to shave your legs even if the shower has a seat.

A tub is also great when you've been working hard or have sore muscles. An epsom salt soak after a long hike is divine. A baking soda soak is also a great option to have in the summertime, when the bugs are out and biting in full force.

Tub! We are currently starting to look for a new house and are ruling out any w/o a tub in the master. I take a bath almost every night. DH and I usually stagger getting ready for bed so a single sink would be fine.

never use our tub. double sinks are used all the time as DH and I often have to get ready at the same time in the morning.
