I am PP. I found this link from last year stating the attendance at the state championship game to be 52,308 which fell just short of the attendance for the previous year at 54,347. Apparently the game has been held at AT&T Stadium (home of Dallas Cowboys) since 2010. They used to play in the Astrodome (old home of the Astros and Oilers) when I was in HS and then moved to Reliant Stadium (home of the Texans) for a few years after that until the current move to AT&T Stadium.

OP, FNL was filmed at an actual high school stadium in Pflugerville, TX which is just outside of Austin.

I grew up in Texas. Football IS really big there... we all went to the high school games regularly. The state championship for the largest school division was always televised and was played at major college or pro football venues usually in either Dallas or Houston. There is a ton of talent in the area, which is why either Texas A&M or UT routinely have good squads.

Coach Taylor's hair emoted so much that it should have its own show!

Texas forever! And I don't even really like Texas.

Do I need to buy the DVDs or is there another way?

Yes, it's streaming on Netflix.

OP here. I am watching on Netflix, streaming to my kindle. I get under the covers right after the kids are down, and watch three straight episodes.

PP. About 5 months ago, I watched all five seasons in less than a week! Didn't get much sleep or work done, though!

Love. Love. Love.

I don't care about sports at all.

I also loved Parenthood and the ending had a shout out to FNL which was great.

I'd rematch so I'm interested in if its streaming anywhere besides Amazon.

He is great in most things. I think I love coach taylor and won't call him anything else, like his real name.

I used to watch him in Homefront, with Kelly Rutherford. years ago
