+100. You people should be ashamed of yourself.
You people are handicapping your children with your rigidity.

if you think embarrassing a teen (or for that matter anyone)!is "fun" then you are the one who doesn't get "it" (e.g., kindness, compassion, understanding). You ate probably the same person who ridicules the teased who gets upset by telling them they can't take a joke, get over it, or lighten up.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:How is embarrassing your child and the whole family laughing at him "fun?"Anonymous wrote:Ever since my son was born, I cannot stop thinking about playing a practical joke on him when he is older (like early teens).
I just wanted to see what you guys played on your teen daughters/sons.
One I heard was mom sneaked into son's bed in the morning to wake him up because her son never gets up on time and she just had it with him that morning.
As soon as son realizes that mom is in the bed with him, he jumped out of the bed, sort of screaming. Son's sister and farther all laughed.
This is meant for "fun" practical joke and nothing more than that. Thanks.
If you need this explained to you, you will never get it.
