Was very close growing up. Now we are all grown and have kids. So we see each other at weddings but those are coming to an end. My youngest cousin (29) is getting married this august. I am Facebook friends with everyone who is on FB. Also most of them are in MA.

Another here that is very close to second cousins. My dad family is a little odd and I know none of my first cousins and probably 20 second cousins. Love them all and spend holidays and random gatherings with them instead. On my moms side, my first cousins are wonderful and just like siblings. I talk to two of them every day and we have sibling rivalry (their dad wanted a girl and got 2 boys, so I really was swooped up in that family). My mom died when I was 3 and both sides of the family believe in "it takes a village" and stepped in. My brother died when I was 13 and my dad when I was 24, so extended family is really all I've got.

Don't have 1st cousins and I don't know the others. Couldn't point then out if I saw any of them. It's like that for all my relatives.

Close on dads side of family but we have a family reunion every year for over 40 years so everyone gets together. Have developed much closer relationships with cousins who are 15-20 years older than me now that I am an adult. We just have an active family and people really show of up for each other especially the younger kids.
On my moms side, its strictly facebook relationships. As in, I just saw one cousin was in DC sightseeing and didn't even reach out to me even though we spent more time together growing up.
