Why did you post? What are you hoping people will say?

We were overseas and the family doesn't get together often so I guess they all took advantage of the time together. It was Dh's family and there was no refusing. Would have been very rude with that culture and I didn't see the need to push my values, look like a nut and make dh look bad. True story!!
Also there, it's good luck for you to sleep in long marriage beds so at every stop along the way they'd find old family members homes to stay at so we could sleep in they're beds. It was sweet but not exactly a turn on for us. Then they'd clap giggle and celebrate the next day. We felt like traveling rock stars and everyone was a fan of our sex.

Anonymous wrote:OP, I think you should absolutely invite your MIL on your honeymoon. Many resorts have suites; have her stay in an adjoining room. You can have some privacy this way.
Maybe establish some boundaries for flying - use the travel time to be your new MILs seat mate and maybe have your DH sit a few row back...or maybe even on a different flight!
You might also use her for a strategic advantage and have MIL wake up early and grab three beach chairs or a primo table for you. You and DH can sleep later and join her later poolside.
Think of all the fun you three can have! Touring, fancy dinners out, sunbathing, resort games, maybe even stay in one night and the three of you could order room service.
Do you golf? If so, you'll just need one more for a foursome!
