Show off about what? That I can afford a trip. Am I supposed to walk around and be careful about everything I mention about my life because it might offend you?

What would you call it then? Wouldn't want to offend you.
Vacation. And you just happen to be pregnant. NP here and I also agree Babymoon is very attention-seeking when you're talking about it with others. It's one thing to say "Oh, we're taking a vacation - kind of our last hurrah before baby comes, you know?" and to say, "Oh, we're going on our Babymoon." It's trying to make a thing out of something that isn't a thing.
OP, the way you wrote your post and put babymoon in quotes, I totally think you're more likely to actually just call it a vacation in real life. But the term babymoon is annoying.
