And I just *love* it when the bride insists she needs TWO dresses - one for the ceremony and one for the reception. Unbelievable.

Another vent - when brides insist they want some weird colored dress (black? red?), and the sales consultants look all befuddled, like "Now how are we going to find that color?" Why are these stupid people shopping at a bridal store in the first place? Just go find an evening dress somewhere.

Pnina dresses are so . I've seen maybe one or two Pninas on the show that I didn't find appalling and I'm not a prude.

My SIL was on Say Yes to the Dress. I think her dress was about $6,000. She's a public defender and at the time my brother was a senior associate at a law firm. I never asked, but am positive they put the cost of the dress on a credit card that gave them points or miles, and then paid off the credit card in full upon receiving the bill..

They will OFTEN say "this preschool teacher is marrying a truck driver-they met at Stuckeys!" or "this 21 year old student is marrying this other student" or other groupings who should not be buying 5k dresses.

I think this is it. Somehow I am bothered by the brides whose fiancee' are paying for (charging?) the gown. The women get on the phone and plead in their fake baby voice for an increased budget because they "fell in love" with a certain gown. Even worse are the grooms who come to the fittings to make sure his bride looks "sexy enough" for the big day.

In reality it looks like a dress prepared for a fitting where the lining isn't sewn in yet.

I think she may have scoliosis. I have relatives with scoliosis and their backs look like that when they twist a certain way. She's a beautiful woman.
