I don't think he had keys but the door wasn't locked and that was how he was able to enter.
I believe he had keys.

Lauras mother acted like those nuts that go into the woods to befriend a grizzly bear. That is fantasy.
My husband has decided to help a homeless guy he met while on the bike trail. I told him that he can do whatever he wants at the site, but not to give his name, or anything that identifies this family, for exactly the reasons you give.
Thank you. He thinks I'm nuts.

How would you know back in 1992? We had difficult times just doing minimal background checks on nanny applicants back then. It was much more difficult to hire and check out help back then without the internet.
They knew he was homeless and very, very odd. Furthermore, Laura tried to tell them that he was creepy, that she was frightened of him.

WTH?????????? YOU THINK these people deserved to be murdered? The Savopolous Family and their nanny? The lululemmon employee who witnessed her colleague stealing merchandise and was tortured and murdered to punish her for calling their manager?

I'm not pp. I don't think the poster meant they were unkind, rather in general watch your back. Those employees were unstable and you can do no wrong to them but still they will attack. Everyone knows the victims did absolutely nothing wrong.

Pretty sure they lived off Lone oak in Bethesda. I lived around the corner at the time but was young and didn’t have kids. It definitely changed my attitude (sadly) about bringing troubled people into your life. I am very very cautious now that I have kids and think about the case all the time. I drive by the street several times a month to do errands and it makes me very sad.
