Mine sits first thing in the morning because he is still sleepy. Most other times he stands.

Yes considered it probably will install one during remodel.

And I love pissing outdoors; don't know why. Probably helps the trees though.

I pee sitting down because I lived by myself for years before getting married and had to clean my own bathroom. My aim was fine but the splashing made a bit of a mess.

One of old bosses had five (5!) boys and was building a new house. This led to a discussion about putting a urinal in one of the bathrooms. Didn't happen and am curious to hear if anyone has considered it.

DH has to sit down to pee only if he has/recently had an erection. Hey yo!

Or, is violently ill.

Married 20 years.

My DH sits.
There was another long thread on this not so long ago.

Maybe they are all just tired or need to do #2 so you do a combo by sitting.

I do, actually. But I'm a grower and not a shower.

I wish my DH would sit down!

Luckily we don't share bathrooms, so it doesn't really affect me but I do hear him get up 1-3 times at night to pee. Maybe that is my angle?

My husband sits if at home. He is tall and does it to avoid splashing/making a mess. It works for us because I never have to worry about a lid up. We are teaching our sons both ways.

I wish mine would. So sick of cleaning up pee from the floor and toilet.

My DH is a typical guy (i.e. not a metrosexual) and he sits at home. Interestingly, the only times I've notice he's stood up at home, is when he's really fired up and annoyed about something at work. lol I think there's a correlation (like, "screw this! I'm not sitting down!")

Those that pee sitting down must have a small penis.

I'm guessing that the men who stand to pee don't have to clean the toilets.

My husband cleans the toilets. He sits.

I pee sitting down only at night at my doc's suggestion after I passed out after peeing standing up a few times. Apparently, I have a condition known as micturation synchope. It's kind of funny actually. Haven't had an episode since I started sitting nearly 20 years ago.

To the sitters!
