My favorite T Shirts are the ones that have already been worn in by my son and don't have pit stains yet, the are stretched so they don't hit every bulge and are shrunk in length as I am a petite. This might be macabre to many but my sister and I fought over my fathers undershirts when he died, its been five years and I just love them more!

I went through a period of shame over my upper arms being sort of wrinkly and fatty, but then I got in shape and got over it. They are still wrinkly and not smooth, but I'm OK with it now because it's just age and not fat. If I tried to cover up everything that was starting to look really old I'd have to wear a tent over my head.

Yes, I wear tshirts and sleeveless shirts all the time. The young guys (or gals) are not looking at me, lol. My bat wings fly free.

I keep them undercover for work unless it's over 90 outside.

Wow, really? Of course I do! And when it's hot I wear sleeveless shirts all the time because I don't feel like sweating to death. I look fine. I also wear shorts because otherwise it's too damn hot.

They in fact reveal the whole upper arm. I take it you aren't actually over 50 years of age yet

Are you suggesting that women over 50 wear long sleeved shirts in 100 degree weather?

I am male, 52. I wear t-shirts when ever I can. They are comfortable. I also wear shorts to accentuate my spider veins. I do not care what I look like. It does not really work that well anymore, and meds are not an option for me, so I get to be comfortable.

I'm 51 and my wife is 55. We wear tee shirts and jeans regularly. Neither of us have geriatric arms. And we both look fine in tee shirts.

They do that for the younger people as well, it's the cheaper thinner material.

I have never worn t-shirts outside of excersize. However, I still wear polo shirts.

The right tee looks fine.

Just nothing, absolutely nothing written across the chest.

Unless you're lean, T-shirts accentuate that middle-aged crepey, flabby, dumpy look. I don't wear them anymore. I push long sleeves up to my elbows or wear 3/4 inches sleeves.

Op, try the unisex tees (not women's) sold at craft stores - AC Moore, Michaels. The sleeves are a flattering length, elbow length. Many colors, cheap.

I basically live in tshirt and jeans. Skirts or Bermuda length shorts in summer. I won't wear a basic tshirt like the ones you get for free--it has to be v-neck or scoop neck.

And no cotton tshirts for working out OP, I hope you know that.

My thought exactly. That's a great thing about getting older. Which I had had this perspective as a young adult.

+1 Nothing is more comfortable than a tee shirt to me. I wear the more expensive one, but I really don't care ...
