The thing is.. how does she know she has it? Docs don't test women for it unless they ask to, or they are pregnant (or sexual assault.. but taht's a different story).
My GYN runs a full STD panel every year at my eval, simply because many things can have a long "incubation" period and something from years ago can finally decide to show itself.
+1 Same here. Many gynecologists will automatically run the tests at every checkup. It's just a swab that's done along with the pap smear. The first couple of years, I didn't even know my doctor was testing me for STDs.
OP, you should take the meds now. If you feel for some reason that your relationship is "soiled" or that your GF is lying, then deal with that later.
