Jeff, can you tell us how many unique users viewed this thread? I am dying to know how many others got caught up in all this.

Despite a few bad apples, it was a truly great thread with some helpful advice and a great OP.

So, Jeff, did this break DCUM records? Especially if you combine the two current threads?

But Jeff, objectively, the OP was the one feeding the thread, and at least two seperate similar threads - with all sorts of conflicting data. And now the OP is feeding the story in a off shoot thread...

I see the point about calling an OP a troll is name calling if not a troll...but the idea that she wasn't 'feeding the beast' and engading in the 'outing' through the incomplete and timely dropping of facts unknown to the mystery I think is unfair to PPs point about her reaction to questions about the story's veracity.

Two separate points:

1) There really aren't that many contradictions, certainly not "all sorts of conflicting data".

2) Maybe I wasn't clear earlier, but there were several posts calling her names and that were rather mean in tone that I deleted. The OP saw most, if not all, of those before I deleted them and that caused her to get pretty angry. She then started showing a pretty short fuse in response to other posts attempting to paint her as a troll. It is not a case that someone very reasonably pointed out a contradiction in her narrative and she reacted angrily to that, but rather that she was the target of several rude posts and started being upset by all troll accusations.

Maybe the whole thing is made up, but if so it is a work of genius and deserving of appreciation in those terms alone. But, the vast majority of those who have followed the thread the closest appear to believe her.
