Count me in as someone who bought Costco pesto for the first time because of this thread. Had it mixed with cherry tomatoes and fresh mozz as a side with our dinner. It is effing good.

It is basil, oil, cheese and pine nuts! Of course the calorie count it high-- though lower than a 1/4 cup of pure olive oil.


I mean it makes sense when you think about it but I just didn't realize I guess!

Same here- I make pesto in the summer when I grow basil, I freeze some for the fall, but in the winter I buy the jar of pesto at Costco, and my family loves it.
