So there's no need to fear gays tearing down churches. Seriously. You might want to try actually speaking with a gay person IRL before passing such crazy judgment.

Of course, it we had universal health care, this would not have been an issue, but I digress.

It's a legal wedge to adopt kids without scrutiny, to have gay lifestyles appear in front of young kids etc.

In a few years after gay marriage is "normal" they will start to say that the churches are hate places (hate speechifiers -- they'll come up with a catchier metaphor you can be sure). There will be posters of a gay couple with a cute small child of a different race in front of a church and the child will say, "why do they hate us."
Then they will say, why tax deduction to hate?
That's how they will attack, and you can bet your life on it.
Because it's not just their plan, it's the devil's.
Oy vey, you're a whackadoodle!

Anonymous wrote:OP clearly doesn't have gay friends. If he did, he would realize that gay marriage is no different than straight marriage. It's two adults in a loving and committed relationship sharing a home, finances, etc. Their families are just like other families. Like my kid said at age 5 when gay marriage was a big political issue on tv: "What's the big deal? A man can marry a woman. A man can marry a man. A woman can marry a woman. Who cares? As long as they are happy, who cares?" If my 5 year old gets it, then why can't the rest of the world?
Honestly, it all comes down to this:
If YOU don't like gay marriage, then YOU simply don't enter into one. Period. But there's no need to concern yourself with who other people marry. It's called live and let live...try it.
But to answer your question, OP: the end game is to see my gay friends welcomed by all religious faiths and political persuasions. It's f'ing 2015 and this is the USA, so you'd think that would be an attainable goal.
Happy Easter/Passover, OP!
