I recommend Immortal Beloved on 14th St... they have several stylists who focus on short hair and everyone I see when I go in for my appointments looks amazing.
Also, as a frequent headache sufferer, you have no idea how amazing it is to never have to wear a ponytail!! IT IS SO AMAZING!!!

He knows what I look like with long hair, now he knows what I look like with short hair. It's hair. It grows back. And having once had long hair himself, he completely understood the desire to get rid of it.
You never mentioned worrying what men will think so I'll assume it's not an issue for you. Maybe your married to decent human being who won't cheat just because you have short hair for a year or two. Or maybe you're not married at all but don't want to date the type of men who only date women with long hair.

I only say this because I could wear this cut for years and years and no I can't because I am 46 and it would make me look butch. That's ok if you want to look butch, but I don't.

If you look amazing, believe me they really won't care how short your hair is.
I am the poster who had short hair for years (until I got too old!) and believe me I had PLENTY of male attention during those years.
It is a man turn-off.
You would have looked more amazing, and gotten much more male attention, if you hadn't cut it short.
But if you want to repel men with an aggressively unsexy haircut, go right ahead.
LOL, why such a hater? If its really that terrible isn't it just more attention for your flowing locks?
I agree with men it is either a love it/hate it situation. My husband loves short hair, but mine is long, to his chagrin.
