For sure! No big deal.

OP here. There was blood on it. That, to me, is gross. Just wrap it up! And I wasn't in the master bath... it was the downstairs half bath. Yuck.

Do you have a light flow? I could never use pads on my heavy days, it feels like I'm wearing a dirty diaper and it's so messy!

Less trash, easier to stick in a pocket...

Love OB! Plus they work much better than regular tampons since they expand outwards rather than just lengthwise.

I put it in the plastic and then wrap it in TP. Just putting the bloody thing in the trash is so gross. Peopel do this all of the time in public restrooms I've noticed though.

Are you not supposed to use a tampon with an IUD? I have an IUD and I use tampons, am I wrong? How did I miss this? Please advise

I read that as she is one of the lucky IUD users that stopped menstruating.

That's correct.

Full confession: haven't used a tampon in 25 years; spiked a fever and rash after sleeping with a tampon in overnight. period ended, illness continued. Doctor told me I likely had tss and never to use tampons again.

A bloody tampon applicator sitting on the top of the trash doesn't horrify me but you’re right, it's a disgusting stinky thing. It disgusts me whenever I see it.
In public, unless there's a sign saying not to, I flush the applicator down the toilet along with the used tampon. Apart from that if necessary I would wrap it in tissue.
I've been flushing tampons and applicators for 25 years now. Luckily we always were on city sewer and had a strong flush at our homes, so it never caused a problem. And it saved us from smelly trash cans.

I had a college roommate who did not wrap maxi pads. Just tossed in trash, not even rolled. Revolting.

So, an applicator to see in trash...that's nothin

I'm way more fastidious though and at my house, toss everything away discreetly.
